because the Holocaust didn't have unity and if they did Adolph Hitler wouldn't be a channdoller == There were many reasons for the Holocaust. Unity among the Jews would not have helped. Throughout Jewish history, they were expelled from country after country...beaten, burned out, robbed, and expelled. To the Jew, what started in Germany was nothing new...but what happened to the six million will never be forgotten. Being unified would merely have made them more identifiable and an easier target. While six million sounds incredible (and it is), this was not done overnight. Nor was it done in public. The full scale of the Nazi regime's plans was not known until after the war. What Jews were telling as they came out of Germany simply was not believed. Even in Germany today (2008), there are many Holocaust deniers. It simply didn't happen in their opinion. Germans are more civilized than that. But it did happen. When one learns of the Holocaust, the six million Jews is properly focused upon. But there were also five million Christians, and another two million "undesirables"..the special needs children, the Gypsies, the birth defect people, the handicapped. All these were herded to the death camps and killed. So it wasn't just Jews...Hitler wanted to "cleanse civilization" according to his prejudices. He was not alone. There was a climate in Europe that spoke of exactly this method. The word "euthanasia" was a "nice" word for the murder that was being advocated. Hitler merely capitolized on the climate of the times. He put into motion what most of Europe was saying in private. Even today, the news is still full of certain people who say it didn't happen..then say that the Jews are doing the exact same thing to the Palestinians. If it didn't happen, what are the Jews DOING to these Palestinians? The word has to have meaning and the Jews know it full well.
