As an active duty Soldier who served 2 rotations in Iraq... my opinion is this.
War is never romantic or glory filled, It is a necessary evil. You can talk until your blue in the face, but there will always be those who threaten our freedom and way of life and will take advantage of nations who will not act. Like the old saying "Talk is cheap". I for one love this country and believe the USA is second to none! It would be an honor to die defending it against ALL enemies
well this is B.E.M.S saying war is a bad time and a bad place to be but my friends dad came back and survived a bullet to the arm and now he dose not have an arm but that is a sacrifice to a better place for his son and now i got to finish my science poster on venus

The atomic bomb made countries be less eager to go to war. The threat of the bomb was too great, as many lives could be instantly lost in the hands of the wrong people.
