Imperialism suffered because at the Paris Peace Confrence, Europe was redefining boundaries, and also taking lots of land in both Europe and Africa from the Central Powers(Germany, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire) as a consequence for starting such a taxing, world wide crisis. Africa was put on the sidelines, once again not allowed to attend the meeting to decide their fate as a continent. They were being divided unfairly. This caused a strong bitterness among African people.
