During World War 2 the total casualty lost by Axis were about 53.25 Million and 21.75 Million by the Allies. Making a total of about 75 Million death Casualties in WW2. If you include people who were WIA or MIA then the total is about extra 22.53 Million.

More than 80 million troops were mobilised for WWII, and between 50 and 60 million people (military and civilians) died. There were so many countries involved, it is hard to list all of them, but the highest casualty figures were: Soviet Union - 14,5000,000 military, and around 7 million civilians. Germany - 2,800,000 military and around 2,300,000 civilians. Japan - 1,500,000 military and around 300,000 civilians. China - 1,300,000 military and around 10,000,000 civilians. Poland - 850,000 military and around 5,700,000 civilians. Romania - 520,000 military and 465,000 civilians. US - 292,000 military. Italy - 279,000 military and 93,000 civilians. Great Britain - 271,000 military and 60,000 civilians. France - 210,000 military and around 173,000 civilians.

It is impossible to accuratly determine the death toll in World War 2, so these figures will possibly never be fully identified.

Military Deaths: 20 million to 27 million

Civilian Deaths: 40 million to 50 million

Total Death Toll: 64 million - 80 million

American Death Toll: 580,000

USSR Death Toll: 7 million to 10 million

German Death Toll: 6 million to 10 million

Japan Death Toll: 500,000 to 1 million

Italian Death Toll: 145,000

Chinese Death Toll: 3 million to 5 million

All Other Allies: 4 million to 6 million
