The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact lasted from August of 1939 to June of 1941. The main impact of this Non-Aggression Pact was to provide Germany with a secure Soviet border while Poland and France were attacked. It lasted only as long as it was convenient for Hitler and by June of 1941 Operation Barbarossa was launched against the Soviets with 190 Divisions. Any gains that the Soviets had achieved in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia were wiped out.
