This is just like what she said but different.THIS HAS TO DO WITH THE STATEMENT ABOVE THIS.Russia might have gone in to help Serbia but Germany did the most damage and it doesnt matter who starts it it matters who ENDS IT and that was the allied powers.
Oh, I think there is but one answer: Power. The Kaiser is very envious of Britain. The effects of what has taken place in Sarajevo are a very thin screen: It is a struggle for European dominance, which in those days meant everything in the world.
Germany fought in WW1 as they were allies with austria-Hungary.
After the assasination of Franz Ferdinand arch duke of Austria, Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia who were being protected by Russia.
So Austria-Hungary attack Serbia Russia attack Austria-Hungary and Germany attack Russia.
Germany was the one who started the war. Germany entered Belgium and therefore, broke the treaty with London which said that Belgium would remain a neutral country (The Schlieffan Plan). Great Britain then declared war to honor the treaty of London, which therefore dragged the countries that were allies into war (because of the alliance system meant that the Allies had to help their ally out in war or any other outburst).
Sorry I know that's a little long. Hope it helped though.
