the war would have happened, but it would have been way different (i believe) because Japan was the one who started with it, not Germany, so japan would have started a big war, but not as big as it was because of germany. and it would probably have ended before.

Why did the Holocaust happen in Germany?

It is an oft asked question, there was not (as some tried to suggest) a specifically German thing about the Holocaust. Germany, under the Nazis provided the breeding ground for many of the factors leading to the Holocaust, but it was only when the war came and the pressures of the eastern front that persecution turned to genocide. There were many genocides carried out in Europe at the time of the Holocaust, the one in Yugoslavia, more brutal that the Holocaust may have happened under the protection of Germany, but was not instgated by Germany. Many facets of the Holocaust were due to the problems created by underlying resentment from especially the last twenty years, but in some cases beyond. __________________________ Another view is that it was all because Hitler said so.

What role did Germany play in WW1?

They started it.They started it.AnswerGermany didn't start it. Serbia and Austria-Hungary started it. When Russia mobilized to assist Serbia, Germany sided with Austria-Hungary and declared war on Russia; leading to war with Japan, Italy, France, Great Britain, Portugal, Belgium, and eventually the US. Of the Central Powers, Germany proved to be the most difficult one to beat, and Germany was hated as much as it it had started the war. It was also not in Germany's favor that the Germans introduced chemical warfare, violated the neutrality of Belgium, used zeppelins and bombers against enemy cities, and submarines against enemy shipping.

Why was it not necessary for the USA to drop the atom bomb on Japan?

This happened because the Germans had surrendered but the Japanese had not. The USA and the UK took the unforgiving decision of dropping the newly invented Atom Bomb on Japan, hopefully leading to a full surrender. Since the Germans had already surrendered it would have just taken a little more time for Japan to surrender, as Germany was the most aggressive party. It was just a demonstration of power by the US. It cost them quite a bit for this demonstration as it was one of the reasons of the cold war.
