First, there are no ifs in history. Second, the US would have needed to find a different mechanism to rid itself of slavery. The Civil War ended slavery for good. it provided a definite end. Third, most important of all, The Civil War created the Union. India is a large nation. It is a poor nation. Each state is doing its own thing. It never really became a federation. It has about the same resources as the United States. Various states in India do their own thing in spite of the national government. They have the mentality of the South. The South called it "The War Between The States." In India, states want to pull out of the nation. India with the same resources can not match the United States. That is the real legacy of the Civil War.
Antarctica and South America never fought against each other in a war of any kind.
The USS Monitor was an advance in ironclad warships in its time. It had a rotating turret on which a canon was mounted. It was part of the US Civil War sea battle at Hampton Roads. It fought against the CSS Virginia. This was the first battle between ironclad warships in history. The battle was a stand-off. The Moniter never fought again as it was lost in a sea storm some months later.
The union ironclad warship USS Monitor and the ironclad Merrimack, renamed the CSS Virginia fought an inconclusive duel in Hampton Roads in 1862. They never met again. It was the first battle between two armoured ships and sent shockwaves round the world.
A war that was never fought.
Hirohito never fought in any battles. That would have been logistically difficult considering no one was allowed to look directly at him.
Vietnam has never had a civil war. The closest you could get would be the Vietnam War, which was fought between the separate although related countries of North and South Vietnam (along with the allies of each side).
A civil war is, by definition, NEVER fought between two countries. p.s. I don't think they used witches.
They never left. Many fought in the war.
AnswerWell the North did win. neither won, they never fought
If you mean the American Civil War. It should have never happened. It got a lot of Americans killed. It was the deadliest war that the United States ever fought. Your chances of getting killed were about 1 out of 4. That is higher than any other that the United States ever fought. Your best chances of living would have been the American Revolution.

America in the 21st century is much more highly armed than America in the 19th century when the last Civil War was fought, so the potential for death and destruction is much greater. It would be horrible beyond belief. Let us hope that such a thing will never happen.
The North would have won the war in a year or two.

The cold war was NEVER FOUGHT! The cold war was an arm's race. If there had really been a war; it never would have been called a "Cold War." It would have been called WWIII (an atomic war).
