When the screw is hard to remove, I usually use a 1/4" socket wrench, 1/4" socket, and screwdriver bit. The screwdriver bit will fit inside the 1/4" socket. This gives you extra torque and won't round out the screw as a screwdriver might do. Once the screws are out, the rotor should come right off.
