coil is bad.replace it It's a typical problem with a Polaris. They sold their ATVs with known defective CDI controllers. On a Sportsman 600 it's a Ducati part #4010785. It's located under the access panel under the front rack. Look at other forums. It's a VERY COMMON problem with many Polaris ATVs and they won't do a recall. DON'T BUY A POLARIS.
