The best advice I can give is to buy a service manual for this job. You can find some in a PDF form for a reasonable price. I say this because to do this job you will need to remove the rear end completely. Remove tires, brake drums, leaf spring brackets, slide back one end of the rubber boot on axle, drop the entire unit. The axle should slide out of yoke closest to the rear end and allow rear end to come out. It wasn't as easy as it sounds for myself took some time just to get rear end to come out due to splines being slightly twisted. Good luck.

To remove the rear axle on a Kawasaki Mule 3010, first ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and safely secure it with jack stands. Disconnect the rear wheels and remove any associated hardware, such as brake lines or axle nuts. Then, support the differential and remove the bolts securing the axle to the differential housing. Finally, carefully slide the axle out of the housing, taking care to avoid damaging any seals or bearings.
