To set the timing on a Kazuma 50cc ATV, first, remove the ignition cover to access the timing marks on the flywheel. Rotate the engine to the top dead center (TDC) position, aligning the marks on the flywheel and case. Adjust the ignition timing by loosening the stator screws and rotating the stator until the timing mark aligns with the specified point, then retighten the screws. Finally, reassemble the ignition cover and test the ATV to ensure proper operation.

To set the timing on a 1997 Honda FourTrax 200 Type 2 ATV, first, ensure the engine is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke for cylinder one. Next, remove the timing inspection plug and align the timing mark on the flywheel with the mark on the case. If necessary, adjust the ignition timing by loosening the ignition coil and rotating it slightly until the timing marks align properly. Finally, tighten the coil bolts and recheck the timing to ensure it remains correct.
This is something that can be difficult to do without the right experience. Make sure to get assistance if needed.
It's not too bad you need to get the engine at tdc and then check the flywheel marks through the timing hole. Check out my bio page for help.
make sure th piston is set a tdc. both valves should be closed. the cam has a mark on the gear side which should be lined up flat with surface of head. both cam lobes should be up letting valves be closed. if everything is lined up correctly the ATV is in time.
To adjust the timing on a 1985 Honda FourTrax ATV, first, ensure the engine is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke. Then, locate the timing mark on the flywheel and align it with the pointer on the engine case. Adjust the timing by loosening the mounting bolts on the ignition coil or stator and rotating it slightly as needed to achieve the proper alignment. Finally, tighten the bolts and recheck the timing to ensure it's set correctly.
