YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE FIVE BOLTS ON THE REDUCTION GEAR COVER AND REMOVE THE GEARS AND WATCH OUT FOR THE SHIM WASHER AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE ROOM TO REMOVE THE STARTER. INSTALL IN REVERSE ORDER.
