Yes, they are a wet sytem.
No, the plugs are different.
i was told buy Ricky Stator for my 2000 Yamaha 350 warrior and i think its the same for yours is green to brown=300 ohms red to white=500 ohms its your stator, i had the same problem !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To set the timing on a Yamaha 350 Warrior, first ensure the engine is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke for cylinder one. Remove the left side cover to access the timing marks on the flywheel and the stator. Align the timing mark on the flywheel with the mark on the stator, adjusting the stator's position if necessary. Finally, securely tighten the stator bolts and reassemble the cover, ensuring everything is properly aligned.
Not in the same way as there is an external alternator in a car but there is a rotor and a stator inside the engine that serves a similar purpose.
yes the crankshafts are the same
a known problem with Yamaha warriors is in the stator assembly. If it will push start most likely it needs a stator replacement.aftermarket way cheaper but also said not as reliable.ie;rm stator, ricky stator.eBay suppliers
For the Yamaha Warrior 350, the stator coil readings should typically be around 20-30 ohms for the primary winding between the two yellow wires, and the pickup coil (also known as the exciter coil) readings should be approximately 100-200 ohms. It's important to check these readings with a multimeter when the engine is cold. Ensure that the multimeter is set to the appropriate resistance setting and that the connections are secure for accurate measurements. Always refer to the specific service manual for your model for precise specifications.
The Yamaha Warrior 350 is a 4 stroke.
yes because its ment for raceing
i have a 1987 warrior and i tryed it on a 2001 and it didnt work.
A stock exhaust with the baffles still in it should do the trick.
