1. It all started as an office romance.

   Tarek and Christina met at a real estate office. "We started our relationship working together," Christina said. Was it love at first sale? The couple got married in 2009 and have stayed together ever since.

2. The couple is expecting a baby boy in August.

   Ryan Read, a registered nurse, was watching a marathon day of season one earlier when she noticed a lump on Tarek's neck. Read sent an email to the production company advising Tarek to get it checked out. Tarek has since met Nurse Ryan, and thanked her profusely for spotting his condition and alerting him.

8. Tarek and Christina make $10,000 per episode.

   In 2006 and 2007, Tarek and Christina "lost it all," said Tarek. Since their big break with "Flip or Flop" on HGTV, the family's fortunes have dramatically turned around. They own a beautiful home in Yorba Linda and make $10,000 per episode.

9. The couple is back in the real estate agency game with The El Moussa Group.

   When Tarek and Christina aren't on television, they run their own real estate agency in Orange County, California. And they do much more than just house flipping. Their El Moussa Group will consult on remodeling homes that are not for sale as well.

    The couple's escalade was stolen outside of a Long Beach, California house in 2013. Fortunately, the car was quickly recovered. The couple eventually sold the car to one of their employees.
