It sure doesn't look like it so far. So far it looks like gasoline prices are going down. There must really be an abundance of oil out there. Have we been conned? For years we have been told that there was not much oil left. Oil was about to run out and that was the reason that the price was so high.

What would cause windshield washer to stop working?

I don't know unless the pump is bad. I have a 98 XLT that the front washer doesn't work but the back one does. So it's not the pump since the same pump is used for the front and back. It may be the switch, GEM, or a relay... but I'm not smart enough to troubleshooting.

How do weapons unload the casings from their bullets?

By bolt action, recoil, pump-action or lever action. A casing is hot after the bullet has been fired, so pulled back on a bolt will open the chamber and fling the casing out. Fully automatic and semi-auto guns fire with recoil. The blast from firing a bullet launches the hammer back and allows the casing to come flying out a hole in the side of the gun. Lever action works pretty much the same as bolt-action and was used before weapons could load in a new bullet. The lever would push out the old casing and put in a new bullet and casing in. Pump action works just the same as lever action, but was used because you could keep your eye on the target while pumping, instead of having to aim, shoot, move the lever and reaim, you could just aim, shoot, pump, and shoot again without having to look around for your target.

How does a submersible water pump work in a well?

A submersible pump is normally fitted with a float switch. As the water rises, the float switch turns the pump on. When the pump empties the water from the level and the level falls again, the float switch turns the pump off again.

What if your well pump has 80 psi?

Your well pump should be set with the aid of a pressure switch. If it is set at 80 then it will shut off at 80 and come back on when it goes to 60. You must have a big pump to get to 80 but that is good -- must pumps shut off at 60 and come back on at 40 i like the better pressure myself it just cost more for a bigger pump and a bigger pressure tank

How do you get rid of patches of oil in the sea?

Depending on the spill extent will have abearing on the measures taken. In basic the sill will be coralled. This requires a floating flexible tube spread around the spill the coral is cleased slowly bringing the spill into a restricted area. Then there are options for its disperal. 1. Spray with detergent to break do the spill. - This is effective but had eco issue as sea life are also effected. 2. pump the marjority of the spill though a filtration plant on board a ship and clean out as much of the oil as possible beore put the water back in the sea. This is very costly and requirees huge filters to be used.

Can you remove an air pump on a Chevy 350?

Better known as a smog pump. Check with state inspections if they require emision testing. As far as if it will hurt the motor, No it will not, an the increase in horse power is really not significant. Most problems are with the gulp valve or diverter valve which causes back fire when throttling back. Air pump failure is due to carbon siezure from check valves on exaust.
