The PS3 must be connected to a broadband internet service with WiFi or an ethernet cable. The USB ports will not allow an internet connection
No Cricket can not provide PS3 internet. A PS3 must connect with WiFi or Ethernet Cable to the internet and the service must be cable broadband or DSL
I don't see how the Laptop would not send a WiFi signal to the PS3 or connect with an ethernet cable, besides the PS3 needs cable or DSL broadband
What do you mean? On a Game Boy, On a Nintendo DS, on a computer, laptop, T.V. I don't really no this stuff. I am only a Nintendo DS expert. Any questions on that?? -Scabs If you are connecting your desktop computer to a wireless router, then you will probably need a wireless adapter. Most laptops today have wireless cards built into them so that you don't need to buy an adapter and you can pick up a signal from any wireless router.
All you need to connect it to your laptop is a USB cable to plug into the printer so it can connect to the laptop. If your printer came with a CD, then install it using that. Most of the time you need a Type A to Type B USB cable to connect printer to a PC or Laptop. Both side connector are different. You can get these cheap (less than $3-4) on internet or in discount electronics stores. - Neeraj Sharma
Usually broadband internet connections are either cable (RG6) or Digital Service Line from the phone company. To interface with their networks, you need a modem. Your laptop will connect to the modem in one of two ways; a Ethernet/LAN cable (Cat 5), or a Universal Serial Bus cable. Many computers of even a few years ago did not come standard with a network (Ethernet/LAN) card, and installing one in a laptop could be spendy. Almost all computers after about 1995 have a USB port, so that can be used to connect to the modem. most laptops come with ethernet ports nowdays...if your computer doesnt have that you can always use something like a router that has usb outputs...right now, my computer is upstairs using a linksys wireless-g usb network adapter...the router is in the basement and is about the size of a modem and the receiver on my computer is about the size of a credit card with the thickness of a cell phone.
Actually, it's closer to a passΕ΅ord (methinks), & it's used to connect to the internet via a given router [the wi-fi & lan device with all the lights (either still or blinking) & the phone cable slots]. Said WPA key can be found on the router's relative documents or even on the thing itself.
Yes. You can buy an enclosure at many stores that sell hard drives. Install the laptop HDD in the enclosure (be sure to get the correct size). Then it will connect to a desktop USB port.
You have two basic options. 1.You can connect your laptop to your cable, fibre optic, or DSL modem or Ethernet port using an Ethernet cord. 2. You can connect your cable, fibre optic, or DSL modem or Ethernet port to a wireless router using a Ethernet cable. You then connect your laptop using wireless to your wireless router.
through wireless modem
When you get broadband cable or dsl you should be set up with a modem connected to your computer with an ethernet cable (similar to a phone cable). To make this wireless you need a wireless router (this connects the modem to the computers) and wireless cards (there are different kinds for desktops or laptops) for each wireless desktop or laptop. how do i get my laptop to pickup my cisco wireless router while using ubuntu. my laptop will not show wireless connect
You can use laptop broadband to connect to the internet. T-Mobile and other providers can help you find the answers you need. technologies are always changing.
First of all, you need to buy your laptop a wireless internet card. any will do.. as long as it's made for laptops.. Once you do that, you need to get a broadband connection.. if the broadband connection you get already comes with a modem wich casts a wireless signal, you're good to go, all you would need to do is install the wireless card in you pc. If your broadband modem does not cast a wireless signal THEN you would need to buy a router wich casts a wireless signal and connect the router to your broadband modem. And that's it
So check it out. I have an old 1998 ThinkPad laptop. Had this same problem. Running windows 2k. HEY!! That old arsh laptop has an infra-red wireless communication device in it. Dude it conflicts with the cricket wireless deal. So i -disabled- the infrared card. And it worked. BAM. i also i also named the local area network connection "Cricket Broadband" i saw that on youtube. You may have to do that along with disabling the infrared. I did that only before the infrared and it didnt fix it..... Anyway i found this out because the driver said "conflicts with infrared device".. Had to dig deep to find it. Good luck all!! -johnny san Diego
no
Wireless network adapter.
If you have a router (connected to internet), and you get a laptop with wireless enabled you do not need anything else. You can connect your laptop to the router and have internet on your laptop.
about 10 meters
You connect an old laptop to broadband just like a new laptop, using the Ethernet port. If the computer doesn't have an Ethernet port, then you will have to purchase an adapter.
