I think you can use it on Cresselia because if you make Masprite faint in will stop running and you can catch is, but not Cresselia! I haven't figured out how to get arceus yet, sorry!!!

follow it using your map on the poketech, and weaken it to to 1 hp if you have to, and then throwing a quick ball at it. Or if one of your Pokemon know block or mean look, then you could use that to stop Mesprit from running away. The same strategy works for Cresselia too. But, how will u know where it went?? The map will show a flashing monster icon (Two if you met Cresselia) i still cant find it. which map is it? the berry 1 or the other 1 or is there a different 1? Its the Marking map, not the berry map.

Cresselia will travel randomly and maddeningly around Sinnoh after you encounter it, just like Mesprit. You can track its movements using the Marking Map app on your Poketch. The blinking icon shows where in Sinnoh Cresselia is. Personally, I like to battle Cresselia by running back and forth between two routes because Cresselia's position changes virtually every major change in location you make. This is why flying to its location normally does not work. Once you arrive, Cresselia moves. By constantly switching between two routes, you can wait until Cresselia appears by chance in the Route you are currently on, so that you can approach it without giving it a chance to move again. When this happens, go into the grass (or sometimes water) of the area and walk around until you encounter Cresselia. It will not appear outside the grass in icon form like the first time you encounter it. Remember, most times Cresselia will flee before you have a chance to hit it, so it is smart to use a Pokemon like Wobbufet whose ability prevents the foe from fleeing or an extremely fast Pokemon to hit Cresselia before it can run and weaken it over several battles before trying to catch it. Remember, this method takes patience and plenty of Quick Balls. Don't give up! (P.S. I prefer going between Route 205 and Valley Windworks.)

Get the NatianolDex by seeing every Pokemon in Sinnoh then go to Canlave City then enter Sailor Edriths House and the boy will be having a nighmare talk to his Mum then go outside and talk to the sailor he'll ask you to go to Full Moon island and obtain the Lunar Wing so go to Full Moon Island you'll find Cresselia it will teleport away when you talk to it go back to Canlave and give the Lunar Wing to the boy you will not be rewarded and if you have the marker map it will show where Cresselia is.(WARNING:Do not fly there or Cresselia will go somewhere diffrent.)And(Like Mespirit)You only get one turn in a battle with Cresselia unless you use Mean Look.Which will stop cresselia from running which is mostly used by ghost types like Gengar.
