not sure if you would call it that but at the end he killed the Emperor to protect his son.
In the end, Darth Vader\Anakin Skywalker fulfilled the prophecy
Yes, by throwing Emperor Palpatine down the second Death Star's chasm and saving Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader did turn away from the Dark Side of the Force.
The antagonists, who are pulled into the Dark Side of the Force, are: Darth Vader (Sith name of Anakin Skywalker) Palpatine (Senator, later Chancellor and Emperor aka Darth Sidious) Count Dooku (Jedi master who trained Yoda, aka Darth Tyranus) Darth Maul (Sith minion of Palpatine who kills Qui-Gon Jinn)
He first appears under the guise of Darth Vader in the original film trilogy; Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and the subsequent prequel films present Anakin Skywalker, a conflicted Jedi Knight who falls to and returns from the dark side of the Force. Before his fall to the dark side, Vader fathers both Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa; Luke ultimately redeems his father in Return of the Jedi, and Anakin sacrifices himself to save his son.
Darth Vader, the Sith Lord that was Anakin Skywalker, became so because he surrendered himself to the Dark side based on his feelings of fear, doubt and hate. Thirty years later, when Lord Vader witnessed his son Luke throw down his light saber and refused to fight The Emperor, he also witnessed the true power of the Light side and saw in his own son, the Jedi that he was supposed to become - a powerful, mature, benevolent, fearless master of the Force, (much like his Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.) This demonstration and Luke's faith and continued insistence that Anakin could still be redeemed, is what caused Darth Vader to have respect, compassion, mercy and indeed love for his son in the moments that The Emperor was assaulting Luke with Force Lightning. These feelings were incompatible with and detrimental for the essence of a Sith Lord, but not for the essence of a Jedi. Luke knew this, and knew that the essence of his father still existed inside Darth Vader. Luke demonstrated this faith earlier when he turned his back to Vader during Luke's surrender, allowing Vader the opportunity to decisively end the conflict by killing Luke, who was unarmed while Vader held Luke's Light sabre. Luke's love and faith is was what destroyed Darth Vader and saved Anakin. Anakin in turn saved Luke, sacrificing himself and redeeming himself in the same selfless act. Anakin says to his son, "You've already saved me," and "Tell your sister, you were right, you were right." Darth Vader had already been destroyed when Anakin attacked the Emperor.
If I were Luke or Leia Skywalker then I would answer "Yes, my dad used to be Annakin Skywalker then he turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader."
Luke is resisting giving in to the Dark Side, so Darth Vader is fighting Luke with his light saber, and cuts off Luke's hand to show him his power, and to even further persuade him in joining him (Darth Vader) on the Dark Side. This act of cutting someone's hand off is called Cho Mai according to Jedi records. This is considered merciful by most Sith Lords who prefer killing their opponent.
The good side of Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker.
Darth Vader, in German, means 'Dark Father'. Darth, because he was on the sith side. Vader, because he had 2 children coming.
Skeletor was always evil whereas Darth Vader turned to the "Dark Side" of "The Force" .
Yes, Darth Vader is the Sith Lord alter ego of Anakin Skywalker. Anakin Skywalker, a former Jedi Knight, turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader after being seduced by the dark side of the Force.
He chose the dark side
If you mean "choose" the ending, yes you can. All you need to do is choose to fight Darth Vader(dark side) or The Emperor(light/bright side) after the first Darth Vader fight. All you need to do is walk/run to the enemy you want to fight.
Darth Vader, then known as Anakin Skywalker, was married to Padmé Amidala. Until his transformation to the Dark Side, causing Padmé to lose the will to live and died in childbirth. Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker is a fictional character.
Darth Vader joined the dark side because he was fooled into thinking that by joining the dark side, and becoming Darth Sidious's apprentice, he could save his wife, Padme, from dying, which, he feared she would because of a vision he had of her dying in child birth.
No, there was only one Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies. Darth Vader is the Sith Lord formerly known as Anakin Skywalker, who falls to the dark side and becomes a central antagonist in the original trilogy.
Before turning to the dark side, Darth Vader was a Jedi Knight known as Anakin Skywalker. His name was changed to Darth Vader when he betrayed the Jedi and became a Sith.
Yes, Darth Vader said, "Luke, I am your father," in the 5th or 6th movie, but I can't remember. The animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, is a TV show about Anakin Skywalker (later DV) before he was turned into Darth Vader. I don't really care for the series a lot because I mean, come on, he turns evil anyway.Thank you.
