The only LEGIT way is through the event, And for previous answer; that's not Darkrai, it's Cresellia. You can glitch the game, but its not reccomended. To do this, Beat the Elite four; then challenge them again. On the fourth door entrance (Correct me if im wrong) Use surf. It glitches the game and takes out the wall boundaries. You can simply "Surf" to the islands where you catch darkrai and shaymin. Shaymin's island is adjacent to the Elite Four (North east). once there, use your explorer kit. Without moving, go back up. Save, and then catch Shaymin. I have no idea where darkrai's island is, Sorry. Darkrai's island is easy to get but with action replay ok go to Canalve city or whatever it is go to the guy to sail you to the island and use run through anything go ove the Mt. and Darkrai will be sitting in a little pond.

first fly home then check the mail and you will get the note that says meet him at route 224 you can only catch shaymin and the letter after you get all the sinnoh legendaries BEFORE him. so on diamond catch dialga giratina heatran darkrai manaphy phione uxie azelf and mesprit and regigigas same thing on pearl but palkia instead of dialga also the national dex. you do not need arceus but if you have him it doesnt matter. p.s. palkia i mean pipsqueak $ucks compared to dialga

Happy" and "Wifi. connection" then he will give you a mystery gift w/ ALL the things needed for darkrai, ARCEUS, and shaymin.um excuse me but that dosent work i tried it
