Depends on how much juice the sub uses ,but almost always the answer is yes especially if you want a sub that kicks at all. You'll need an amp if your subwoofer costs anywhere over about 50 USD. Otherwise the subwoofer is probably junk and you shouldn't waste your money on it anyway.
if your looking to buy brand new car subwoofers for a low price that will produce quality sound for your money, the kicker comp is a good choice. they come in all sizes and are great speakers for a low cost. now if you considering cheaper than that, i believe memphis audio is a good alternative, but not as cheap as kickers comp subwoofer. Memphis has been raited number one in price, quality and all around sound. their PR 10s and 12s are $100 to $130 range and audiopipe also produces a great speaker. but before you consider getting a subwoofer, make sure you have an amp that can match the rms of your speaker because you might have a top-of-the-line subwoofer, but an amp that can't push the speaker to its full potential. if you have any questions, you can email me at chasefsflip22@hotmail.com and i'll be glad to help you out.
Around 330 watts. For a car battery.
a passport for every individual in the car.
you need a instruction manual of car monitor
yes
You must first check with the guide to your subwoofer. Either you can probably find it online , but you need to know the RMS wattage for the subwoofer. Than buy an amp that can put out the same number of watts and the RMS is for the subwoofer.
in fact , some subwoofer with amp. you don't need buy amp. give you one good guide http://www.12vcity.com
your car should not stall after installing a subwoofer. your problem might be the fact that your amp and your subwoofer(s) could be using too much of your cars electricity.
12 inch Bose speakers are what you want, along with a amp and subwoofer.
You have to run the powers and grounds for the amp, do not forget to set up the remote wire either. then you will need to connect the amp to the CD player auxillary with the RCA's, then you just wire your sub to the amp.-Shocker
First you will absolutely need an amp to power any subwoofers. Nowadays subwoofers come along with amp..& normally one 1200watt subwoofer decrease your car battery lifetime to 2-4 month
Wire the subwoofer to and AMP and the amp has to be directly hooked up to your battery. There is a second wire that is hooked up to a wire that only has power when the keys are turned. This turns the Amp on by turning on a relay in the amp powering the sub. And connect the ground to something steel in the car.
To often mount a subwoofer you will need your desired subwoofer box of choice. Once you have decided what type of box you want, then you will need to take your subwoofer and insert it into the subwoofer hole. Then you screw it down. Once this is done you take your wires and run it into the subwoofer. An amplifier is not necessarily needed, but you'll definitely want one. You will then take your amplifier and connect it to your cars battery, and then also ground it to your car.
All car speakers will go well with a 500 Watt amp, but for the best effect, get a power subwoofer.
Take the rcas from the amp and connect it to the + and - posts on one of your speakers.
There isn't one
Head unit amp and subwoofer with box also mid range woofer and tweeters.Yes, but if you only want to install say 2 6x9's you won't need an amp and it'll still sound ok. You'll also need wiring kits for each component. But that not a system that would be speakers. There are asking about a audio system.
