Yes - a 32yr old in this day and age is actually possible at having an 18yr child. Also, an 18yr old has yet to experience many things throughout the next 14 years - hence the number of years in the gap - that the 32yr old has already experienced and chances are would not repeat.
I disagree- in regards to love, age is just a number. Age-gap relationships are perfectly fine and anybody who criticizes them probably doesn't have the right to do so anyway (ie. they haven't been in an age gap relationship). OK, true, the guy is old enough to be the 32 year old's dad nowadays but that doesn't make any difference. You can't help who you fall in love with, and, if you are truly in love with somebody then you should go for it, regardless of the age gap. I was in a relationship with a man 20 years older than me for 5 years and I loved every minute of the relationship. Unfortunately, I made the hard decision of moving abroad to be closer to my family and to get a better job. The long distance relationship couldn't work, we knew that, so we broke it off and we remain friends. I go and visit him sometimes and I know that I'm still a little bit in love with him. Anyway, I'm going a bit off-topic, so, in answer to your question: no, it is not a huge age gap.
its nothing wrong, age means nothing, only a number of how long people have been living. the important thing in life is love and everyone needs love. the guy can be old enough to be your dad but it doesnt make any difference. if he loves you and truly care about you, then go for it. enjoy every mintue with him and it'd wont be the mistake you'd regret. I'm in a relationship with my partner of two years and I'm 20 years old and he's 36. we met when i was sixteen and i fell in love with him but i told him that we couldn't do anything but just be friends because i wasn't at the age of majority that time..he promised to wait for me and i thought he was only saying it..but then he literally did. and now we are together since. people may think you and your guy will not last forever...but you both can prove them wrong. most ladies prefers older guys than guys their own age cos guys their own age can be immature and absoutely childish. having a older guy makes you feel secure and happy. go for it
