No. Australia's school terms have nothing to do with seasons in the northern hemisphere.
Australian school children have between six and nine weeks' holiday in December and January (depending on whether they attend a state school or a private school). The school year is divided into four terms, with several weeks' holiday separating each of the other terms.
Spring starts in the Northern Hemisphere on March 21 and in the Southern Hemisphere it starts on September 22. any doubt contact email id- sana@gmail.com me no more with you all....

As you may know from your Middle/High School science classes, Earth revolves around the sun on it's axis of about 24 degrees. Because of this rotation, we have what are called Solstices and Equinoxes, a solstice being when the sun is the furthest northern or southern point twice a year, and an equinox being when night and day are the exact same length. The reason we have seasons is based on the fact that because of Earth's axis, at any given point during the year, the Northern hemisphere (half) of the Earth may be closer to the sun than the Southern Hemisphere, and vice-versa. Because the closer hemisphere is receiving more direct sunlight, they go through a period we refer to as 'Summer'. The further hemisphere, which is receiving more indirect sunlight, goes through a period we call 'Winter' Hope this helps! Joe
As you suspect, that depends on where it is on Earth. But you've given no information in the question to tell us that. The only thing we can guess is that the school may be in an English-speaking country. If that particular educational institution is anywhere in North America ... the US or Canada, for example ... or anywhere in Europe ... the UK, for example ... then it's in the northern hemisphere, and closer to the north pole. If it's in Australia, South Africa, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Samoa, or other English-speaking places in the southern hemisphere, then it's closer to the south pole.
Northern Secondary School's motto is 'The Pride, The Spirit.'.
