*SPOILER*
He will fully die in the next book to be released, The Last Hope. What I mean by fully is when he became clan leader he was granted 9 lives from StarClan, so he will die 9 times before his full death.
I think that she wanted to show that the original prophetic taste was coming to an end with Firestar's death. Also, she wanted to end the series with the cat that started it (as the next series is going back to the start of the Clans). Sometimes the main character must die, even if he is 'the best'.

The climax of Firestar's Quest really depends on one's opinion because the climax of the story is the most suspenseful or exciting part. I think it is when Firestar, Sandstorm, and the Skyclan warriors that chose to come are surrounded by the rats and think they are about to die.
As far as I know, there was no cat in Live and Let Die. There was an episode called "Live and Let Die" involving the family cat from the American TV sitcom ALF.
Erin Hunter chose to have Firestar die to bring closure to his character arc and to emphasize the themes of sacrifice and the cyclical nature of life in the "Warriors" series. His death allows for the passing of leadership to a new generation and highlights the consequences of ongoing conflicts within the clans. Additionally, it serves to deepen the emotional impact of the story, reinforcing the idea that every leader must face their mortality.
no but he will die sooner or later no cat lives forever not even the grate Firestar
Yes, Firestar is a cat in the popular book series "Warriors".
The first cat that Firestar gave his warrior name to was Thornclaw.
Yes, Skywatcher was the the cat who told Firestar of the prophecy. "There will be three, kin of your kin, who will hold the power of the stars in their paws." Skywatcher came to Firestar in a dream, and also told him in person in Firestar's Quest.
Sadly, Erin Hunter releases news that Firestar's death scene has already been scripted, rough drafted, and in the book that will come out July of 2012. in CATS OF THE CLANS Rock tells the kits " Ha! Who knows how every one of Firestar's lives will end!" did you get the catch? Rock is saying he knows how Firestar's lives will end but will refuse to tell any cat. A cat is a cat Firestar is no different from Tigerstar or Leopardstar, their lives all ended somehow and so will Firestars. Thanx, Silver123
The cat is most likely Firestar since he is one of the main characeters and the cat has orange pelt just Firestar's.
No, Firestar does not die in "The power of three" series.
The cat on the cover of The Forgotten Warrior book is most likely Firestar. The Erins say that the cat on the cover will die, and all those rumors of Firestar dying in Omen of the Stars supports my theory. But, no one can be sure. And there is a possible chance that the cat on the cover might NOT be the actual, "Forgotten Warrior."
Firestar didn't die. Firestar will NEVER die. He's Firestar.yes, firestar dies, but i dont know who takes his place
Lionheart
Firestar will die in the fourth series, Omen of the Stars
No but he is not the wisest one either. he may not be wise, but he tries. long live firestar :)
