If you mean obstacles to geographical mobility of labour, then these are "anything which restricts the ease of movement of workers from one area to another".

e.g.: 1) Lack of or high cost of accomodation in areas where there are job vacancies.

2) Language and cultural barriers.

3) Personal preference not to leave the area or city they grew up in perhaps due to having a young family who have settleed, loss of social ties, stresses of uprooting, even disapproval of other friends/family members.

4) Government actions- Immigration red-tape, work permit regulations, lack of funding in support of minority groups and/or rural areas.

5) A positive or negative reputation of a particular area.

6) Poor infrasturcture and amenties in the area or in getting to the area!
