**SPOILER**Yes. When serving wine at a dinner table and spills it, Kurt Kotler beats him then kills him with a bullet.Following from Brookiemonster: (correct answer!!)Actually, in the book Pavel doesn't die but he isn't mentioned again - the reader is not even told what happens. Instead the reader is forced to make conclusions based on the fact that, due to our prior knowledge, we know that he beats him up and since he is not mentioned again we PRESUME that he is dead - we don't actually know!
The intention was to make a movie, not make money.
No. In the novel, 'The Boy In The Striped Pajamas', it is not implied that Maria, Bruno's family's maid, is Jewish. Evidence of this is on page 59 of 'The Boy In The Striped Pajamas.' It says "Maria's eyes opened wide and she took a step towards him, her hands covering her mouth for a moment in horror. She looked round to make sure no one was listening to them and had heard what Bruno said. 'You must not say that,' she said. 'You must never say something like that about your father.'"Also, in one more place, she says "because your father is a good man."
it made me feel sad

The most sensitive approach to "The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas" is one of innocence. The story is told through the outlook of two children, one free and one imprisoned in a World War II era death camp.
He wears pajamas to bed.
the movie sucked so i expect, it didn't make alot of money.

he's innocent because he doesn't know what his fathers job is .
Bruno has a better relationship with his mother then his father, Bruno is clearly fairly close as he asks most of his questions to his mother. His father is working at the camp so his mother is one only people he can talk to.
