You currently can't.
However, Sony have announced that they'll be releasing Playtv by the end of 2008. This will enable you to record digital channels, and hopefully High Definition ones as well.
If you mean How do you Play PS3 games on High Resolution using a PS3 then it must be connected to a HDTV with a HDMI or component cable and the PS3 setting menu should be for HD. PS3 games will not play on a Blue Ray disc Player that is not the PS3 console
It makes the tv screen in higher definition / hd
No.
no
No you can not pause live tv, but u can record a programme with a dvr
The size doesn't change anything. Its how you connect the console to the TV. You will have a standard VGA connect, HD cable or HDMI cable. Your TV will provide you with ether a VGA cable (none HD tv) or a HD/HDMI cable (HD ready or Full HD 1080p)
no it only records telus service
If your PS3 was set for HD TV and you want to connect it to a regular or standard 480i TV go to your settings and change them back and also switch back to the A/V cable that came with the PS3 from the HD cable. This is not rerouting your PS3 it is changing the PS3 television monitor
Do you have it plugged into the HD part of your tv
No. Currently the PS3 only ships with an RGB cable, basically a scart. This only gives standard def quality. You will need to buy a separate component or HDMI cable (HDMI is better) Everything else is built into the console.
Plug cable into your ps3 then into your tv (your tv must have a hd channel) then just change to the hd channel and turn it on
