Cats are wonderful pets, and are usually very expressive in their lifetime. If a cat is suffering, they usually act out of normal behavior. They may be lethargic, more or less vocal, they may vomit, not eat or drink, and may feel warm to touch. It would all depend on what is ailing them.

If you're cat hisses at you, it means to stay back.
Another is if it wags it's tail. Unlike dogs, this means they're unhappy.
