Pokemon do not have a fixed location. They exist only when wandering through routes. You can go to www.serebii.net and search for the pokemon you wish to find in the bar on the top right corner. The entry will tell you where to find the pokemon.

∙ 14y agowin them in contests or go to sunnyshore and look in the upper left houses. one of them has a sign that says ribbons. go to the lady inside daily and she will give you ribbons for telling her stories

∙ 12y agoTo get a ribbon you have to make your Pokemon like you, then go to Pastoria and then the footprint mans house. He'll ask you to chose a Pokemon and he might give you a ribbon.
There are more ribbons to get off other people. I have gotten foot-print ribbon, effort ribbon, shock ribbon, and a ribbon for each Pokemon that I had with me when I defeated the Pokemon league. I don't remember where I got them, sorry, but just research it on Google. ;)

∙ 14y agoFootstep ribbon, between valor lakefront and pastoria city and you have to have a strong connection with your pokémon, win contests in heartdorme city at contest hall, ribbon synidate, you can buy them, sunnyshore city tell story's to a lonely girl (go east as much as you can) you can also beat the pokémon league and all the pokémon will get a ribbon that participated, you can also get a ribbon by migrating a pokémon that beat the pokémon league in another region
