You can use a Thumb Drive with PS2 you just need to format it to FAT not FAT32 or else it won't work, and Action Replay is a very reliable company they have yet to let me down a many other people who own action replay products on the net.
Here is a list of compatible usb flash drives also:
* Lexer Jump-drive - $20-$40 @ BestBuy.com
* PNY Attache - $20 for 128mb @ BestBuy.com
* Sandisk Cruzer Micro - $17 for 128mb @ CompUSA
* Memorex - $20 for 128mb (unconfirmed price)
* The PSP - Compatible as a gamesave/code save storage device.
* iLo MP3 Player - $65 (average) for 256mb storage. Verified it myself.
* Dell USB Pen Drives - $30 for 128mb
When purchasing a USB drive, remember that unless you plan on other uses for your pen drive, you won't need one larger than 64mb (that's the size of 8 PS2 memory cards). That kind of storage is more than you will ever need for your PS2.
You have to format the flash drive so it is compatible with the ps3 You can not add some files using the USB drive If they are games and add ons they must come from the Playstation store Maybe if you were intelligent, you would have stated what format the flash drive should be in....it is FAT32
There is a Device which has a PS2 memory card slot with a USB and it can be attached to PC to transfer your PS2 memory data to PC.
No not on anything you could purchase new in the past few years, back in 2006 and 2007 when they sold for 5 and 6 hundred dollars each some of the PS3s with 4 USB ports could play some PS2 titles
no the Dual Shock 3 controller is Bluetooth and the PS2 does not have Bluetooth, although it would still not work for other reasons
No the PS2 can not play a PS3 game they are only the same size they are as different as a CD and DVD and that is just the disc. The PS2 can not run the PS3 games programs and lacks the hardware to do what the programs are telling it to do
How can i Format a Raw USB Flash Drive of 80 GB Capacity. Under Xp Message box showing unable to format
PS2 is the input format for the mouse, optical refers to the 'laser mouse' method of mouse movement. PS2 is an old format which is not supported by many newer computers, as companies favor the USB input format since it allows for faster data transfer.
once you install the disc that came with your action replay. You download save files or cheats you want and then open up the file manager. Your are going to upload the save file to a USB drive and then using the PS2 format disc transfer the save file from your USB stick to the memory card
No, that won't work.
Plug in the device you want to use and it should work.
it should http://www.kvmstuff.com/server-management/kvm-switches/ps2-kvm-switch.html
Insert it into a USB socket. Windows should automatically try to read it - cancel the attempt. Left click your computer icon on your desktop - look for your USB drive (it should be labelled F). Right-click it and select Format.
No you need the memory card
only 4 USB port models will play some of the PS2 games
any mic will do aslong as it has a usb
Connect your USB drive, then click on Start then Computer. Then right-click on the USB drive, now click on Format then OK.
After the USB drive has been inserted, it will be assigned a drive letter. From this point, you would open the CMD prompt and type: FORMAT F: (enter) Be sure to replace F: with the thumb drive's drive letter which is assigned by your operating system. If you format the wrong drive letter, you will lose all the data stored on that drive letter.
