How do you get on the game show fetch with ruf rufman?

1. You must live in the Greater Boston, MA Area.

2. You must be able to film during certain weekends, school breaks, and weekends in the summer.

Phase 1:

About one month before the auditions (Late November-December), a note from Ruff will be posted in the "Scoop" and it will give you all the information on how to set up your audition appointment. Do what the instructions tell you to do.

Phase 2:

On the weekend of the first audition (Early January) you will have to go to the WGBH-TV studios and you will line up to sign in. The people there will instruct you where to go. When your time is called you will go to a room where they will ask you some question(s). Once finished you will go back and meet you parents back in the atrium.

Phase 3:

A few days after the audition, WGBH-TV will email you back and might ask you to reschedule your appointment. This is the first callback. If not, you have not passed the audition.

Phase 4:

There are about four callbacks that follow the first audition. Phase 3 will repeat after each appointment. By the end of the month they will determine who are the new FETCH! contestants. This is your chance to go on super-fun educational adventures! Try it out!

Other:

You will get payed during the show filming.

To audition for Fetch! Be sure to check the scoop on the pbs kids website Fetch! section. In 2010 about 2,000 people auditioned. The casting company is now called Christine Wyse casting. I was lucky enough to get a call back, they usually narrow it down to 200 - 250. Unfortunately I turned 14, which was over the age limit, during the audition process. Because of this I could not be on the show.
