there are twe ways to get shiney Pokemon. 1 (which is the harder way is to look in alot of grass for a very long time and if your extremely lucky then you will find one) the more easier way is to use your pokerdar and then make a chain of the same Pokemon more than forty times. but there are diffrent patches of grass that all has a diffrent animation. there are four. onece you go to the grass you chose out of the four, remember what you chose because you may mess up if your not careful i hope this helps

∙ 14y agoWhen you encounter a Pokemon, wild or otherwise, there is a very, very, very small chance it will be shiny. You can go through the game encountering no shinies, or you could see many- it's not predefined thing, there isn't a place where you can just go and catch shinies, the game doesn't work like that.
