The Scroll effect is under format on the menu in Windows Live Movie Maker:
> Key in your text, then click on it
> From the menu ribbon, select Format (under Text Tools)
> Click the arrow under the effects menu
> Choose Scroll effect
The Scroll effect is not exactly like the one from Star Wars. What you need to do is add the text in staggered layers to get that look. Example:
It all
began last
summer when the
night was still young. And
the stars were still bright and shiny.

No. You can't get the Brady Bunch effect (Split-screen) in Windows Live Movie Maker since the program is a simplified version of Windows Movie Maker v2.6. Split-screen effects can be downloaded from rehanfx for Windows XP operating systems. And, even though some people say the split-screen effect works on Vista, I have not found that to be the case.
