All you have to do is to insert to DVD or Blu-ray in the disc slot, go into Videos, wait for the disc to load, then select the disc shaped icon. Enjoy your movie!
You also could buy or rent it from the PlayStation Store or get it from your Netflix account

∙ 14y agoTo play Blu-Ray Disc or DVD on PS3 Machine that is set up to a monitor or TV already slide the disc in. You might then need to go over to video and find the disc and click on it and maybe even have to click on play. It's all very simple and easy, just slide the disc in and play it.

∙ 12y agoyes the PS3 is a Bluray Player, but it needs to be correctly connected to a 1080P HDTV to actually work. For most it is simply connect with HDMI cable to 1080P HDTV and blu ray works and DVD upgrades to near 1080P
