You press the Playstation Emblem when the charging cable is connected. It works anytime if the PS3 is on and it is before other controllers are turned on. That sets the controller for that PS3. After it has been set, when you press the PS button it will even turn on the PS3 if it is off. Then when a game allows more than a single player you only have to press the Playstation Emblem button to turn any of the PS3's controllers
if you are talking about a PS3 controller, then plug it into the PS3 using the USB cable and press the PS button. the playstation will set everything else up in a few milla seconds.
You create a Playstation Network account if your PS3 has an Online connection and you are over 18 years of age
No you can't unfortunantley but the ps3 controllers are really good.
If your like me the Sony HDTV remote also operates the PS3 because of the HDMI sync and so does the Home theater remote
You need to use Playon software and remote play from your PS3. Then connect your PSP to your Ps3.
The PS3 works best when connected to the 1080P HDTV with HDMI cables and the new slim PS3 may then even allow your HDTV remote to Play the Blue-Ray movie that you also need to get Blue-Ray. I know with my PS3 slim 120 GB model connected with HDMI cables to the Sony BR6 HDTV I can use my HDTV remote for Blue-Ray and DVD movies played in the PS3.
The Sony Blu-ray Remote (PS3) is $18.96 at Walmart on September 14 2011
register it with the ps3.
you connect a psp to a ps3 using a usb plug and you go on your psp to remote play which acts like a remote.
Nope, you don't need one. You can use your controller that you use to play games. The new PS3 slim when connected to a Sony HDTV with HDMI cable will allow the Sony TV remote to work the PS3 video controls
turn on a ps3 then turn on a controller, any ps3, any controller.
No
you have to turn it on by remote
Your remote works on a different system than the Bluetooth the PS3 uses. The HDMI sync on my slim PS3 ( Fat PS3s lack the hardware for HDMI Sync) allows me to use my Sony HDTV Remote and also my Sony Home Theater Remote even though they are not Bluetooth to control the Playing of DVDs and Blue Ray Discs and the selections from the PS3 menu bar. I can not sync my Cable remote to do anything on the PS3 even though I can get it to work some features for the Home Theater and HDTV If you want to sync the PS3 optional remote you need to plug it in to the PS3 with the charging cable to get it to sync with the PS3
The controller for the PS3 is different because it senses the movement of the controller and the PS2 controller does not.
yes
Do you mean can a PS3 controller be a mouse because even the Sony PlayStation PS3 remote control is set up as a controller. I believe Logitech has a Keyboard and mouse that were designed for the PS3 for about $80
1.ps3 move sr1200 2.ps3 with 2 remote and 3 cds sr 1500 3.ps3 with 2 cd and 1 remote sr1400
The HDMI cable connection allows my Sony BR6 Bravia remote to Play DVDs without any adjustment or codes being input because the signal enters by the television's remote connection and then through the PS3 slim HDMI connection. It would not be possible without the PS3 being the new Slim model and the connection being made with HDMI cables and may only work with Sony Bravia sync. The other method is that the PS3 remote must be a Bluetooth device like the controllers and other PS3 accessories are to be received by the PS3.
