on your PS3 go to settings then accessory setting on accessory setting go on manage blue tooth devices devices then register new device star scanning while scanning hold down the on/off button on the mic and then it should connect

∙ 11y agoYou press the Playstation Emblem when the charging cable is connected. It works anytime if the PS3 is on and it is before other controllers are turned on. That sets the controller for that PS3. After it has been set, when you press the PS button it will even turn on the PS3 if it is off. Then when a game allows more than a single player you only have to press the Playstation Emblem button to turn any of the PS3's controllers
