It's called the Vulcan Death Grip. He is able to target a particular set of nerves in the neck that cause blackout. However, it's fictitious, as far as I know.
In the new movie they make it appear as though it's Uhura, this is false. In the shows Uhura had been with Scotty. In the show Spock does Pon Farr (mating ritual of the vulcans) with a Vulcan woman named T'Pring, he doesn't marry her but he does end up marring a Vulcan woman named Saavik... in one of the trek novels.
star wars Chocolate or vanilla? The answer depends on YOU! I like Star Wars, but Star Trek appeals to me a little more. It doesn't make me right or the previous answer wrong. It is all a matter of preference. Watch them both, and decide which one you want.It could change from day to day. Maybe you could qualify the question with something measurable. Like ticket sales. I like them both. The competition between fans can be as viscious as sports fans, but it's really funny if you think about it. The people in charge of both work extra hard to keep actors from crossing over, but not so hard in the background. They often use the same special effects companies, and benefit from eachother's technology, when some equipment needs to be invented to film a certain scene. There was a scene in Star Trek where Spock has the same experience as Ben Kenobi, when a host of people die far away. The company making Star Trek toys went out of business after passing up the chance to make Star Wars ones. For many years Star Trek stuff was rare and expensive, while Star Wars went on. They both fizzled out for merchandise in the last half of the eighties. Then it picked up again as the 90s started. Now you don't see much Star Trek stuff anymore, and then they make toys for that new movie. They're all too expensive right now though.
no, Star Trek is just a fictional (make-believe) story line that introduces audience to outerspace, and other planets....basically they want you to make-believe and use your imaginationThe Star Trek universe I'm sure gives one a good idea of the real universe out there. The Star Trek universe is also the kind of future we, and further generations, would like to live in. We don't really know what will happen in the future. But, we can start by being the change we want to see in the future - the microcosm affecting the macrocosm. So, YES the things in Star Trek CAN happen in the future. We must be positive that the good things in it will happen. (Picard gives a good description of that future to Lily in 'Star Trek First Contact'.)
SPOILER ALERT Yes, but he is brought back to life.
Yes, he played the voice of the Chef in the original series.

Sharon Tate never appeared on Star Trek.
While it would be a cool idea, there are no plans to make Lego Star Trek. I wish they would then i could have the whole Lego sises
Star Trek spawned a generation of keen scientific minds to take some of the fictional inventions of Star Trek for example the Automatic Door and make it reality. Most people when asked would probably want an answer to the question are we alone in the Universe, and Star Trek gives us hope and perhaps inspiration for the next generation to come up with methods of uniting man kind in a common goal of bettering themsleves and exploring the universe.

Star Trek's Mr. Spock is famous for the four word line, "That would be illogical". Can you see how illogical your argument is?
If they do, check ebay.
I don't know how you would make your own rpg, but a good Star Trek based RPG is A call to duty, http://startrek.acalltoduty.com/index.html It's the only RPG to ever by endorsed by paramount (the owners of star trek.)
