Population growth is the net result of 4 factors: Birth Rate, life expectancy, Immigration and emigration The birth rate in most western countries has been declining, but there is a second echo of the baby boom that is showing up. Some cultures have higher birth rates, including the aboriginal population. Life expectancy has been steadily increasing in the west, but again it varies according to socioeconomic status. Immigration is driven by a number of factors including Canadian and international politics, wars, etc as well as Canadian immigration policy. Emigration is most affected by economic factors such as job availability outside vs inside Canada and a desire to live in more temperate climates. All of these factors have an impact on net population growth and many of them also affect the ethnic diversity of the population
Canada's population density is 3.17 sq km.
On its own New Zealand has a birth rate of 1.8 which is below the replacement rate. Without immigration the population would decrease and economic opportunity would diminish. Immigration boosts this rate to 2.2 allowing the country to grow.

Immigration is when an organism, such as a human, move into a new population.
Populations can change through birth (increasing population), death (decreasing population), immigration (increasing population), and emigration (decreasing population). Changes in these factors can result in population growth or decline over time.
it didnt
Gene flow within a population distributes mutations among the individuals. Immigration and emigration transport alleles into and out of a population's gene pool, thus affecting the result of natural selection.
Hey... Um-mm the answer is the two factor that affect population size is emigration and immigration. The diff of emigration and immigration is that emigration is when you leave some way for an ex Mexico, When Mexican leave there country they are emigrating. And when they come in to the US They are immigrate. :)
