As far as I could tell - Yes. However, I don't recall there being any proof of the identities of the two bodies carried out of the factory. Could Tony have killed someone else and faked his own death by leaving the other body to burn with Robbie? Who knows? Are the writers leaving it open for his return yet again?

∙ 13y agoTony Gordon's cellmate Robbie Sloan, who helped Gordon plot his escape from prison, was shot and he died. No-one else died except for Gordon himself when he perished in the factory fire after dousing it with petrol.

∙ 13y agoTony Gordon dies by setting the factory, Underworld, alight with Hayley, Maria and Carla inside with him. Hayley, Carla and Maria get out safely, but Tony comes out of Underworld, then goes back in just before Underworld blows up! That is how Tony Gordon dies in Coronation Street.
