Summer does not exist on Venus. Venus has a fairly constant temperature during it's whole period. Even though the surface of Venus may face the Sun for extended periods of time, the heavy atmosphere transfers this solar energy around the whole planet.

The following is based on my opinion and my opinion only: I think that even though Venus may have a seasonal climate just like Earth, I think that it is not considered 'summer'. You see, the definition of summer is the following: the warmest season of the year; in the northern hemisphere it extends from the summer solstice to the autumnal equinox (www.Google.com under "What is summer?"). We don't know much about Venus's summer because we have not defined the parts of its hemisphere yet. I am just stating my opinion. I CAN be wrong.
