I think that you are referring to the Aryans, who were Indo-European invaders who conquered India about 1,500 B.C. They were nomads who entered India from the northwest. They came from Central Asia, most likely from what is now Iran or Afghanistan. They were either white or at least fair skinned. They were war-like and overran the Dravidian civilization that existed in India. They brought with them their own culture and language (Sanskrit). Modern Hindi is derived from it. They established the Caste System in India with themselves as Brahmins, the highest caste. The Dravidians made up the lower castes. They must have settled mostly in northern India as the people are lighter in complexion than the people of southern India. Even today. And Hindi is spoken in the north. In the south they have many other languages. The people who were conquered were mostly farmers and lived in towns. I hope that this has been a help to you.

How has globalization affected culture around the world?

Globalization has already affected different cultures around the world. The current situation can be called a "world-system" which has become increasingly complex as globalization has exposed different cultures to other ones in the world. This exposure will and has influenced cultures because of the massive new contacts, faster communications, and more trade. The globalization of the world and its affect on cultures over the past 30 years has changed cultures because of a number of basic factors: * A new international division of labor. This is "new" and can be linked to; A. A decline of the United States relative to the EU, Japan (at times) and a dependence on cheap labor in China; * Internationalization of finance. There is essentially one global banking system. As it was once said " money changes everything" it does to cultures; and * The growth of consumer products has impacted cultures in a significant manner.
