A 10 year visa doesnt mean you can stay in the US for 10 years, it depends on the Immigration officer at your port of entry. Visas are usually stamped for 6 months, with extension possible. Immigration officers have the discretion to allow a person in or turn them back. In this case, an officer will question you as to why you are coming back into the country so soon. If you are returning only because you already have a flight booked out of Chicago to leave the country, then i would imagine that you would be allowed entry. If you are doing more travelling inside the US then expect to have a long chat with USCIS. At that point, he can either allow another 6 month entry, allow a shorter entry due to his discretion, or refuse entry and cancel the visa.
