If you are a Creationist you would think so, but there is another problem.

The closer a heavenly body is to another body the rate of departure (distance it travels away) is much faster. With that in mind you could not go back in time even one million years before the moon would be touching the surface of the Earth. This poses a real problem to people who say that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. Scientifically speaking, it would need to be only thousands of years old.
