I am assuming from your post that this is a cultural practice. If it is, then you can go to any doctor for a complete examination and have the doctor report the findings to your father and the man he chose for you to marry. If this is not a cultural practice, then tell both of them to take a hike and that includes your father! This is not disrespectful, but if it's not your native custom you should be able to marry whom you wish. I would like to add, you might tell this man you are suppose to marry that his reputation is up for grabs too. You can bet he hasn't been a good boy! Good luck Marcy
