Yes, you will lose fat from your whole body and probably pretty fast. You might not lose weight though because you will be building muscle and it weighs more than fat. Don't be discouraged though muscle is also smaller than fat and while you might not see a difference on the scale you will see a nice difference in your shape and how clothes fit. It's not really possible to predict whether you will lose weight because we don't know how many calories are contained in those balanced meals. The fact that they are balanced has little relevance to weight gain or loss. If your caloric intake actually increases because you are hungrier now that you're running daily, that may offset any benefit in calories burned by running. Your stamina will improve, you may lower your resting heart rate, and you my reduce your recovery time -- all good things -- and not lose an ounce. Remember this general rule: To lose one pound a week, you must create a 500-calorie-per-day deficit. So, lowering your intake by 250 calories (two cans of regular soda) while increasing your physical activity by 250 calories (about a half hour on the treadmill) should do the trick.
