In Avatar the Last Airbender why did Uncle see Fang and Aang while they were flying over him?

I think it is because when he was younger he somehow got into the spirit world so now he has some sort of connection with the spirit world and that is why he probably saw what he saw.
i heard him say that in book one in like one of the last three chapters when he is talking to admiral zao when they are going to attack the northern water tribe

Will there be an avatar two the movie?
On Wikipedia it says:M. Night Shyamalan wrote a rough draft of The Last Airbender 2 while filming the first film. Shyamalan confirmed he intends to continue the series, and that the main antagonist for the second and third film will be Azula, portrayed by Summer Bishil in The Last Airbender, and also said with her addition, the second film will be darker, while the third will be more ambiguous. Paramount's decision on a sequel will probably come with a short synopsis for the second film, but Shyamalan confirmed that the Kyoshi Warriors, which were planned to be in the first film, but omitted because of pacing, would play a larger role. Well, you see, people learned waterbending from the moon and the tides of the sea. Earthbenders learned from badger-moles, which appear in the series, in Book Two: Earth. Firebenders learned from dragons, like Iroh, Aang, and Zuko. Airbenders learned from the air bison (also known as wind buffalo) like Appa. Assuming Appa is not the last air bison, the next Avatar will have to study airbending from Appa or another air bison (even though Appa is the last air bison, who knows?) Also, rumour has it that airbenders did not die out and that they learned to 'become' wind. So they may well return. But that is just a rumour... There have been many theories as to what would happen after Aang is gone. At the end of the series Aang learned how to bend the 'energy' inside people. And like Iroh who learned a technique by studying waterbenders, I'm pretty sure that Aang can still teach airbending. And if at all possible, bend their energy to create a new generation of airbenders. I don't think we've seen the last of them. Aang can write a scroll and the next Avatar can learn from it. And if his kids are airbenders, he can teach them, who can then have airbender kids of their own and teach them. And so on. Here's my theory: In the end, we all saw that Aang kissed Katara. There's a high probability that Aang will marry Katara and have airbender kids, since its rare for Southern Water Tribe to have waterbender. Aang's kids will learn how to bend air and the Cycle continues. Aang's kids will get married, get children, and pass on the airbending skill. The future airbenders nomads will repopulate and teach the Avatar airbending. Right, well, the above is true, but no-one said that the next Avatar could come from JUST the Southern Water Tribe. Since the Avatar Cycle goes air, water, earth, fire that means the next Avatar will be born within one of the Water Tribes. It may be Aang's child, who knows? One way or another, I don't think on any level that he is the last ever airbender. We have not seen the last of them, so let's just leave it there, shall we?

He's not the last Avatar, he's the last airbender. He is the last airbender. The Avatar's soul is reincarnated into the next bender in the cycle, so if he were to die, the Avatar would be reborn into the next cycle. As the cycle is air, water, earth, fire, he would be reborn into one of the water tribes. However, as Avatar Roku tells Aang in the Avatar State, the first episode of the second season, "If the Avatar is killed while he is in the Avatar State the cycle will be broken, and the Avatar will cease to exist." As Aang is killed in the Avatar State in "The Crossroads of Destiny," the Avatar Cycle has likely been broken. Indeed, Aang reveals in the third season that he can no longer travel to the Avatar State, which indicates that he is not only the last airbender, but possibly the last Avatar as well. But then he does manage to go into the Avatar State in the finale and everything is happy. Yay.

No it isn't. it was created in the US by nickelodeon and the 2 creators, who are white, do not call it anime. it is just a regular cartoon. Avatar does not have futuristic settings or sexuality. colorful art and mild violence (as in avatar) could be found in all types of cartoons. and avatar is based off Chinese culture. it is drawn in the US and animated in Korea. Unlike anime, creating avatar has nothing to do with japan.= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =I disagree. "Anime" is a style of art. Even though Anime originated in Japan, doesn't mean that animation drawn in other countries in the "Anime" art style is not considered Anime. Take Manga for example. "Miki Falls" by Mark Crilley for example, was created by an American and is considered a Manga by everyone who has and evern hasn't read it! To my knowledge, no one knows when the actual air date for chapter 14 is. however there have been many rumors concerning chapter 14 such as its been cancelled,(i believe this rumor is false but you never know). the release date for the avatar the last air bender book 3 vol.3 is may 6th 2008, so obviously the episodes would get released on tv before that (source:http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Avatar-Airbender-Season-3-Volume-3/8831). The boiling rock happens to be 2 part episode so it will probably get released together or within a few days after part 1, it doesnt make sence if they release part 2 a month later after part 1. i believe it will be a very important episode since its in 2 parts.
