Alice is a fun love crazy little pixie vampire who can see the future. She loves to spend her time shopping and hanging out with her best friend Bella Swan also her brother's true love. Alice was born with the name Mary Alice Brandon. She was given the gift of seeing the future her family thought she was crazy and put her in a mental institution Later she was turned into a vampire. She had a vision about meeting her love Jasper. They met up and found the Cullen's joining the family. I love Alice she is quirky and energetic.

Bella Swan: Fairly average, not much of a party-girl. she's quite dull and she's normal like any other girl. she loves Edward and Jacob in many different ways.

Edward Cullen: Supposedly perfect in every way. He may be overprotective, worrying and prone to overreaction, but he is most importantly a gentleman. He has strong morals and is a very thoughtful character. He acts as he sees appropriate, and he values others lives (particularly Bella's) far more than his own. But most importantly, he loves Bella and his life revolves around her now.

Jacob Black: He is the friend who keeps Bella in one piece when Edward can't. His metaphor is the 'sun'. As in the SUN. He keeps the series light and warm. He does make life complicated for Bella on occasion. Jacob has his troubles too but manages to deal with them with a smile. He is far more independent than most of the characters, which is a fortunate thing because he does get emotionally (and physically) thrown around a bit. He's cheeky too, and he does fight dirty when he gets desperate.

Carlisle: The rock of the Cullen clan. He is compassionate and he has plenty of wisdom and knowledge. He is the peacekeeper and keeps things under control, for someone so non-violent, he is very influential. Good thing though. His partner is Esme.

Esme: The mother of the group. She too is compassionate and is a very warm, loving, gentle character. Basically, there wouldn't be a fan who hates her - she is the one that would give the best hugs (except Emmett - can you imagine?)

Jasper: A slight reject. He rarely has the spotlight on him though except for Eclipse when he reveals his extra non-supernatural talents. He's a bit tired of being the weakest link in 'controlling thirst' terms, but he is trying. He is very charismatic and has the ability to sense and control the emotional atmosphere of others around him. His partner is Alice.

Alice: Good things come in small packages. Despite being small physically, she is vastly impressive intellectually and is very influential. She can see the future based on people decisions, they change their mind - the vision changes. She is a very bubbly character and has expensive taste - but it doesn't matter how expensive your taste is when you can see the future Stock Market rates.

Emmett: The BIG brother. He is often described as being like a bear. He keeps the atmosphere light and he is very carefree and always makes us laugh. He is the strongest (physically) in the Cullen bunch and his partner is Rosalie.

Rosalie: Extraordinarily beautiful as that intensified from her human self. (she was beautiful to start with.) She is self-centered, it's true. But can one blame her? She doesn't really enjoy being a vampire though. If she could go back to being human - she would. Emmett is the best thing she has in the world of the supernatural - which she is happy with. But she did always want children...

Sam: Leader of the Quileute pack (alpha) and was the first to change. He was alone which made it hard, but the elders of the tribe shared their wisdom and Sam adjusted.

Before changing, he was in a relationship with Leah Clearwater, then he imprinted on Emily. (imprinting is like 'gravity moves', the subject of the werewolf's imprinting would have a more devout lover, brother, friend, comrade than anyone else on earth. Except maybe another subject-to-imprinting.) His colour of coat is pure black.

Paul: One of the pack's earliest members. Despite having time and practice, he still has trouble with his temper. He later imprints on Jacob's older sister. His coat is grey.

Jared: Another early member of the pack. Despite his constant involvement - he doesn't really effect the story line and we don't hear much about him. But we know he is one of Sam's closest friends. He imprinted on Kim - a girl who had a crush on him at school.

Quil: One of Jacob's best friends. He is humorous and fairly relaxed. We surprisingly don't get to know him too well. He imprints on Emily's two-year-old niece, Clare. Don't get the wrong idea, he doesn't see her romantically - he makes a great 'adopted big brother' and looks after Clare with extreme care. His coat colour is chocolate brown, and while many of the other werewolves see their pack duty etc. is a heavy burden to bear - Quil and Seth think it's awesome.

Embry: Jacob's other close friend. We don't get to know him too well though. There isn't much I can say about him.

Seth: The youngest member of the pack at first. He is Harry and Sue Clearwater's son and Leah's little brother. He is a really likable character as he is very laidback, kind, forgiving and innocent. He joins Jacob straight away when he leaves the pack in Breaking Dawn and doesn't budge when Jacob tells him to go back. He also happily takes Bella's calls and went to her wedding despite there being numerous vampires in attendance.

Leah: The moody and only female werewolf in the Quileute pack. She is of course still sour about Sam leaving her for Emily though she understand better now. Sam still feels terrible about it. Leah doesn't make things easy for the pack as Jacob often complains about how her thoughts upset the rest of the pack thinking about things that they'd rather not be. (the pack hear each other's every thought when in wolf form which makes coordination and communication easier - but its also understandably inconvenient.)

Colin and Brady: Two more young boys who join the pack due to increased numbers of vampires in the area (Eclipse) We don't know too much about them.

Alice was born down south, she was having visions in the early ages so her family put her in a asslyum, she doesn't really remember where she spent her life before she became a vampire because she sat in a dark room all day every day because in those day's they thought she was a perosn deemed with evil spirts or most people thought she was a witch.
