that's weird... depends if it happens like all the time or just that once. if its all the time then there is a health issue with a dog like that being inside anyway... but if it was just a one time thing then it shouldn't matter, i mean it is a bit extreme that they won't let the kid stay with his grandparents anymore. that's like hurting the kid more than a little pee could ever do. not to mention pee has like a pH of 7.04 or something its just about as safe as water. unless the thing is like super sick or something, but then that's a different story and i'd be more worried about the dog than the kid... just saying...
