Yes. You may own the plant, use it, sell it, eat it, smoke it, make a salad with it, absolutely anything goes.

There is a law against substance abuse in SA- but no discussions, rulings or legislation on salvia exists per-se. -Blu

I just wanted to add that Salvia Divinorum is not a party drug to get high on, however should you wish to expand your mind, then you may want to try it... or atleast own your own plant, I know a guy in Durban who sells these plants. I am a very happy cutomer, he sent me two plants and they are doing so well, he is also really helpful when comes to growing them, Just Google (Salvia Divinorum Durban)
