yes,you can create an internal memory card and start for scratch with all of your playstation games or you can get a memory card adapter driver which is about $10.00-$15.00 and convert all your saved games from a playstation memory card and play as you would on a palystation
You can play any Playstation One game without the use of a memory card. However, you will not be able to save your game. This goes for playing PSOne games on both the Playstation, Playstation 2, or a PSOne Classic on a PSP. (Though chances are since PSOne Classics can only be purchased over Playstation Network that you already have a memory stick to save onto.) If playing a PSOne Classic on a Playstation 3, you can save straight to the console's hard disc.
The PlayStation 2 memory cards have the non-volatile and not the volatile flash memory.
No you cant
The USB ports on the PlayStation 3 can be used for a variety of items, including (but not limited to) memory sticks or external disk drives for copying data (music, video, or photos) to or from the system, backing up the system, or saving game data; printers; charging the SIXAXIS wireless controllers; and attaching the external PS2 memory card adapter.
If you mean an SD card adapter, you put it in a USB slot, then simply plug the SD card into the adapter. If it is some other memory card (for a gaming console) then an adapter is most likely USB compatible.

No games must be saved from actually playing on that PS3 and into the memory card that you build into the PS3 hdd. You can not then download these into a USB port. Nothing from games HDD section can be downloaded to the USB port and used in another console.
