yea, and a laptop is not a computer, it is a laptop. iPod touch 4g can do about anything a computer can with a little less RAM.
What? a laptop is *not* a computer? You'll need to state just *what* you mean by "computer".
technically no it runs its own os not osx or windows but yes as in it has a cpu ram and memory, most phones laptops macs severs and desktops are similar but different in terms of OS and sheer processing power, everything is restricted to OS and power eg. laptop small portable, web browsing music and hd vid, games to some extent useually 1 or 2 users
desktop is basicalyy the same but will easily hadle games and 1080p and basic vid editing but still restricted to approx 6 users deepening on hardware and os
phone 1 user limited functionality 720p web browsing and email
sever depending on level (mainframe for example) 1000's of clients (1 client is a desktop or laptop pc or mac) conected, NO DIRECT USER INPUT (with exception on maintenance, setup and diagnostics) backup power and network feeds (fiber to server) can do Hollywood quality 3D movie editing LIVE and still have processing power spare
in short in can do what the os supports and what the hardware is capable sorry it wont make you a sandwich = )
First, both can make phone calls, and they are pocketable. Also, they can text or save phone numbers. Both can handle recent call list. And the biggest different is the pocket computer is a computer with an OS and the mobile is a mobile without an OS.
The purpose of the small form factor is to make a desktop computer appear smaller in size. It is a computer form factor which can be used for this purpose.
No you do not, the computer will take care of that as long as you don't go real big with the tires.
I'd say a pencil and pocket-size notebook, walkie-talkies, a magnifying glass, a disguise kit, a newspaper, and a code making device. Wild Planet brand Spy Gear toys are fun.
iPods allow you to take as much as 10,000 songs with you anywhere in your pocket. If you store music on your computer, then just plug your MP3 player into the computer and all of your music will be loaded onto your iPod within minutes. CDs take a while to burn, but CD players are good for traveling if you don't have a laptop, since you can always find a CD store where you can buy new music. CDs are better for live DJs because right now, the live mixing technology is still better (although more expensive) with CD than MP3. I'm trying not to be too biased, but it's hard to think of any advantages to CDs. MP3 players are far more flexible. I'm a mobile DJ and I use CDs for DJing, but only because I've got thousands of dollars invested in CD turntables, which aren't exactly portable. I bring literally thousands of CDs with me to every gig, but then I have trouble keeping my music library organised, so when a song is requested and I don't know off hand where it is in my CD collection, I often just play it off my iPod, which means I can't do much mixing. -DJ Craig Thats easy, an iPod is just a smaller version of a portable CD player that can hold a much larger amount of songs along with videos and pictures. I have a nano and love it. I highly suggest getting one. You can put all your CDs onto a device the size of a small cell phone.
Currently, the iPod Touch is better than the iPad, since the iPod Touch does pretty much everything the iPad does, except in a smaller size that fits in your pocket.
You should get the basic size. It is the most comterable to hold. JUST NEVER plug it into another computer.
I recommend an ipod touch. The ipad is more expensive than the ipod touch. But it isn't really about money its about the size, the quality ,the weight (if for example your taking it on an airplane). So it dosent matter how much it is and anyway these days electronics get cheaper and cheaper overate threre's a new creation of electronics And the Ipod touch, you can put it in your pocket and its light not heavy.
Ipod touch is bigger (in physcial size), is newer so it has more features, and it is just one big touch screen.
Yes, the 16GB and 8GB iPod touch are identical in size and thickness.
3.5 Inches
4.9 inch
Yes because no matter what Gigabyte your iPod touch is they are all the same size, its just the iPhone that's thicker and bigger!
Yes, because they are identical in shape and size.
yes. the ipod touch 2nd and 3rd generations are the same size so any case will fit both.
the standard ipod headphones are about the size of a penny or a dime.
Yes. The second and third generation iPod Touch are the same size. Ipod Touch 4G or fourth generation, is thinner and weighs less.
